MORTH

I love the way that wizened, desiccated, seemingly dead old plants can give birth to the most delicate shoots. It's new life from old, right in front of our eyes. The new growth is pale and fragile, initially unable to survive on its own, relying on the weight, strength and wisdom of the old to form a firm foundation from which to emerge and stretch.
